Former smartphone maker, Blackberry is suing Twitter for alleged patent infringement.
Blackberry has said that Twitter has infringed and is still infringing on six of its patents. These patents cover things like push notifications, silencing notifications for a message thread, mobile advertising techniques, and others.
It also alleges that Twitter "created mobile messaging apps that co-opt its innovations, by utilizing some of the innovative user interface and features that enhance usage and functionality, which made BlackBerry’s products a success at first.
Neither of both parties have given comments yet.
