Huawei has launched its foldable phone; the Mate X. The Mate X is thinner, has a bigger screen, and folds flatter, than the Galaxy Fold. It was launched at the MWC 2019 event. It has an 8-inch wraparound OLED display, a folded thickness of 11mm, a 4,500mAh battery, Huawei’s in-house Kirin 980 processor and supports 5G.
When open, it offers an 8-inch tablet display, and when closed it turns into a 6.6-inch smartphone. The single OLED display of the Mate X serves triple duty. When it is folded, you have a dual-screen smartphone. A second display on the rear allows you to take selfies with the main camera and also share what’s on your primary display with a person on the other side.
It has three cameras, and a push-button latch that secures the folded tablet in a closed position. The processor of the Mate X is Huawei’s Kirin 980. It also has Huawei's Balong 5000 5G modem. It has a dual-SIM card slot, or you can add one of Huawei’s Nano Memory Cards.
