Nubia's latest gaming smartphone has a cooling fan in it

A year after Nubia announced its original Red Magic gaming phone, and fewer than six months after, it released the Red Magic 2; now it's back with another gaming smartphone called the Red Magic 3.

The Red Magic 3 pairs liquid cooling with an internal “turbofan — Yes! a PC-style cooling fan inside a phone; a first in its industry. Gaming phones from ASUS, Razer, and Honor have been the most prominent; but the Nubia Red Magic 3 has come to upset this balance with its inbuilt cooling fan.

Specifications of the Nubia Red Magic 3

• Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 platform

• 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, or 12GB+256GB RAM and storage options
• 5,000mAh battery
• 27W fast charging which, supposedly, can deliver an hour of gameplay with ten minutes of charging
• 6.65-inch, ultra-widescreen FHD+ HDR AMOLED display
• Android 9.0
• 48MP rear camera and a 16MP front one

Supposedly, the Red Magic 3 can shoot in 8K and up to 1920 fps — which is an awesome feat.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 is out in China on May 3 and will be released in the US, Canada, and Europe later in the month. Pricing is still to be announced.
